Good morning, everyone, Today, it‘s a pleasure for me to stand here and I‘m very pleased to have such an opportunity to share some of my teaching ideas with you. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Guo Xinzhi, and I am working as an English teacher in Yong‘a(chǎn)n Middle School, Congtai District of Handan. My topic today is taken from Lesson 37 of Unit 5 in Student Book 4. The main content of this unit is ―Go With Transportation‖, and the topic of Lesson 37 is ―Flying Donuts‖. I have decided to say the lesson from six parts:

Part One —— Analysis of the Teaching Material One:

Status and Function

1. This unit tells us the improvement of traffic transportation and the related stories. Besides learning this, students will also learn some words, phrases and expressions of traffic, and so on. In Lesson 37, Danny will introduce a new type of transportation to us, it is imaginary.

2. To attain ―four skills‖ request of listening, speaking, reading and writing, I will have the students do some exercise about the text.

3. Such a topic is very important in this unit. I will lead the students to use their imagination and encourage them to be creative. For example, helping them use English to describe their imaginary transportation. So I think if the students can learn this lesson well, it will be helpful to make them learn the rest of this unit.

4. While teaching them, I will also encourage them to say something about what they think the future transportations will be like. In a way, from practising such a topic, it can be helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken language. Two: Teaching Aims and Demands

The teaching aims basis is established according to Junior School English syllabus provision.

Knowledge objects

(1) To study the new words ―fuel‖, ―oil‖ and ―coal‖.

(2) To learn and master the phrases ―think of, on the way to …, have fun‖, etc.

Ability objects

(1) To develop the students‘ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

(2) To train the students‘ ability of working in pairs

(3) To develop the students‘ abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.

3. Moral objects

(1) Through different teaching methods to make students be interested in study.

(2) Love to know more knowledge about transportation and dare to express their opinions in English.

(3) Encourage the students to be more creative and try to make contributions to making new inventions in the future.

Three: Teaching Keys and Difficult Points The teaching keys and difficult points‘ basis is established according to Lesson 37 in the teaching materials position and fun ……此處隱藏27662個字……and competition. Role play is a good way to improve their ability of language using.

Step 4 is Extension.

This step is very important and necessary. I mainly put key points and difficulties in this part. Also, I’ll praise Ss’ behavior in this class.

It can make Ss know more clearly about what they have learned in this class, and proper complements can help them hold their interests.

Step 5 "Homework".

(1) Listen and read the new words after class.

(2) Finish the exercise book.

Ss will forget the new lessen soon if they don’t practice. It’s necessary to give some proper assignment. And it’s also an important feedback.

Fifthly, I’ll show you my blackboard designing. I divide the whole class into 4 groups. Each group can get a star when any one of them does a good job. And that’s a competition that can keep their attention. (Write the new words and the structure on the board.)

說課的內容是牛津小學英語5B的Unit 8,這個單元的核心內容是“周末活動”,。本單元和Unit 4的What does he/she usually do on Sundays?He/She usually …有一定聯(lián)系,,通過周末活動引出本單元的四會內容和昆蟲名稱,。涉及的句型有:How do you spend your weekends?How does he/she spend his/her weekends?

二、教學策略

新課程強調從學生的學習興趣,、生活經(jīng)驗和認識水平出發(fā),,倡導體驗、實踐,、參與,、合作與交流的學習方式和任務型的教學途徑達到發(fā)展學生對語言的綜合運用能力。為了到達教學目標,,落實教學重點,、化解教學難點,本堂課借助flash:do you have any hobbies?復習平時的活動;借助一些小獎品,,如塑封的蝴蝶,,螳螂等,激發(fā)學生的興趣,,同時也為下節(jié)課昆蟲的教學打下基礎。我借助多媒體課件化解難點,。在整個教學中,,我注意師生的互動,從唱-游戲-對話-猜謎等活動完成了本課的教學任務,。

1. 教學重點是學生能聽說讀寫單詞詞組(weekends.,at the weekends learn from能運用How do you spend your weekends? How does he/she spend his/her weekends?進行交際,。

2.教學難點是catch insects這個三會詞組的發(fā)音,。通過第一人稱的練習轉化到第三人稱單數(shù)。

1. 教具:電腦、塑封好的昆蟲,、單詞卡片

2. 學具:學生自備各種形狀的實物,。

六、教學過程

1.歌曲激趣,,營造氛圍

英語歌曲是提高學生英語學習興趣和學習效率的有效方法之一,。“Do you have any hobbies?”這首活潑的歌曲既能感染學生,,調動學生的情緒,,歌詞中的詞組如:watch TV grow flowers take photos等又能為新課學習作鋪墊,自然導入新課,。

2.聯(lián)系實際,,學習新知

小學高年級學生仍以形象直觀思維為主。所以,,我一開始利用學生常用的報數(shù)讓學生自然引出周六周日,,然后老師示范說weekend ,說得出的獎勵一些塑封的小昆蟲,,然后自然引出詞組catch insects既是對學會新單詞的 鼓勵,,又為第二課時的學習打下基礎

3.趣味游戲,鞏固掌握

從昆蟲引出周末活動,,從同桌之間的互問又引出第三人稱單數(shù)的練習,。為了鞏固第三人稱的練習,老師可以提供一些人物,,讓學生來猜一猜他們怎么過周末的,。特別是當老師提供一些名人來猜時,學生感覺特別興奮,,那時他們的偶像呢?這個過程看似游戲,,其實學生在不知不覺中對今天的句型在不斷的操練的。

4.,,精選題型,,適當練習

英語教學除了口頭練習,也要注重寫的練習的,。特別是到了高年級,,學習內容更深了,,學生一定要聽說讀寫齊頭并進,才能夠掌握課堂知識,,所以本課我設計了幾個填空小練習的,,讓學生對第三人稱單數(shù)的人稱變化和助動詞的運用能自如的判斷和正確的理解,錯誤的地方一起分析,。

如何讓今天的所學用到生活中去的,剛才的練習只不過是一些機械性的操練,,如何讓學生運用到實際生活中去,,我設計了一個調查表,讓學生調查家人是怎么過周末和節(jié)日的,,下節(jié)課交流,,看誰的周末活動豐富,學生的任務明確了,,任務務能順利完成了,, 那我的本課的教學任務也完成了。
